Summer Fete

Vanila Cup Cakes
Cake Batik
Karipap
Kuih Lapis
 
Today the children had "summer fete" and as usual Sofea and Adam volunteered the their mummy will donate some goodies
Ans so I made :
cupcakes, kek batik, karipap and kuih lapis.

KUIH LAPIS
Bahan-bahan:
1 1/2 cwn tepung gandum
1/4 cwn tepung beras
1/4 cwn tepung jagung
1/2 cwn gula pasir..boleh tambah jika suka lebih manis
3 cwn santan..tambah jika perlu
1 camca teh garam
Pewarna merah
1/2 camca teh esen ros (optional)

Cara-cara:
1. Panaskan kukusan. Sapukan loyang (8 inci/20 cm) dgn sedikit minyak. Masuk loyang dlm kukusan.
2. Campurkan kesemua bahan kecuali pewarna merah dan esen ros.
3. Tapis adunan dan bahagikan kepada dua bahagian.
4. Satu bahagian warnakan dengan merah dan campurkan juga esen ros. Satu bahagian lagi tanpa warna.
5. Mulakan lapisan bawah dgn warna putih. Biarkan selama 6min-8min atau hingga masak baru tindih dgn lapisan seterusnya. Ini tip utk membolehkan lapisan dikopek selapis demi selapis. Lakukan hingga habis.

VANILLA CUPCAKES
Bahan-bahan:
250gm mentega
180gm gula caster
4 biji telur
185gm tepung naik sendiri
60gm tepung gandum
185gm susu segar

Cara-cara:
1. Ayak kedua-dua tepung. Ketepikan.
2. Pukul butter dan gula sampai gebu.
3. Masukkan telur satu persatu.
4. Campurkan tepung dan susu secara berselang-seli.
5. Tuang adunan ke dalam acuan cupcakes dan bakar pada suhu 180 darj celsius
.

Batik Cake

Ingredients:
400g Rich Tea biscuits (break into small pieces)


3 eggs
1 1/2 brown sugar
250g butter
3/4 cup Milo/cocoa powder
1/2 cup fresh milk

Method
In a bowl, whisk sugar, egg, milk and milo or coca powder together.
Then in a pan, place butter and heat on a slow fire. Add the whisked ingredients to the butter and stir continously.
Once thicken, add the broken rich tea biscuit and turn the heat off. Slowly combine all the biscuits together to ensure that all the biscuits are covered in chocolate paste.
Place the mixture in a square tin or container (best to line it with greaseproof paper or foil) then pressed gently to ensure that all the biscuits stick to each other.
Place in the refrigerator for at least 3 -4 hours before cutting with a hot knife to get a clean cut.

emm cantiknya kuih lapis amy ... teringin nak cuba ... tapi tak ada pulak tepung jagung boleh ganti dengan tepung ubi tak? Tue 15-Jul-2008 20:07
